…so said Gabriel Read as he found gold in Otago in 1861. He unearthed a rich harvest from the common soil.

This work is a result of a family’s refusal to allow an old mans life’s work to gather dust and die. He is arguably one of New Zealand’s finest poet.
It is the revelation of yet another seam of New Zealand’s 'gold'.
